Supplemental: Last autumn I planted a few canes of autumn fruiting raspberries so that we would have some later in the year. It seems that the cold and the rain we’ve been having recently have fooled them into thinking that it is autumn and they are producing some fruit now! As the strawberries are just rotting in the rain a few raspberries are very welcome.
