Primal Anne’s Log Earth Date 24/6/2012

Breakfast: baked eggs with least burnt bacon (see trauma)

Lunch: pork hotpot followed by apricot and raspberry nut crumble and cream

Supper: chili beef and broccoli

Snacks: beef jerky, strawberries and blueberries, 3 x brazil nuts

Beverages: lemon juice in water (1), black tea & milk (several), coffee with cream (1), water (2), dandelion tea (1), red wine (1)

Hunter/gathering: discovered Hook & Son, a farm delivering raw milk nationwide. I’ve ordered 8 pints for Thursday delivery (quite a lot of milk but the smaller the order the more expensive the milk). I am going to use half of this for making yogurt.

Watching the pennies: Had to pop into Sainsbury’s for some spinach and I noticed that they were selling 0.5 and 1.5 litre kilner jars with 1/3 off r.r.p. I had only been looking online as few minutes earlier for jars suitable for yogurt making. I bought 4 of the 0.5l jars.
