Bought a piece of rump steak for making jerky, some rib-eye steak to eat and minced beef from Reynolds in the Street Market.
Watching the pennies: Bought a copy of “The Thrifty Forager” by Alys Fowler for £4.99 (RRP £16.00) in the ‘The Works’ Outlet bookshop. Unfortunately I got caught in the rain on the way home and although the book was in a bag it got a bit soggy. Just as well it was for me and not a present for someone else.
