Primal Anne’s Log Earth Date 15/5/2012

‘Scuse title of this blog but that’s what happens when you’re married to a Treckie fan!

Mostly in blogs to date I’ve talked about food! I thought that I’d try to keep a bit more of a balance by posting a daily log covering all the aspects of the primal lifestyle and how I am incorporating them (or trying to) into my life. Even the ones I don’t find so easy to live. So here is the first log. Suggestions for improving the format welcome!

Food:

Breakfast: Homemade no grain granola with freeze dried red berries and crushed brazil nuts, two boiled eggs & lemon juice in water

Lunch: Pork Rillettes, Sauerkraut, coconut flax bread & organic butter

pork rillettes & sauerkraut

Supper: Leftover pork tenderloin & Salad

Snacks: Blueberries & Greek yoghurt

Beverages: Coffee & cream (1), black tea & milk (several), water (2)

Exercise: Move around a lot at a slow pace:

1 1/2 hour circular walk through the park, around Baiter and back through the town. Stopped off at a couple of shops on the way through to pick up new glasses and buy some fruit and yoghurt. Supermarket only had asparagus from Peru – shame on you Sainsbury’s!

Sleep: Fair night’s sleep. Rested up for 1/2 hour after walk.

Play: Threw a ball a couple of times for a dog I met at Baiter.

Sunlight: Saw a little when out walking but there was a cold wind so not much skin exposed.

Avoid trauma & Poisons: Successfully avoided. Oil pulling for 20 mins this morning.
